Josh’s passion for design and construction is in equal measure. His role as Project Architect is underpinned by his experience as a Design and Project manager with Hutchinson Builders (2011-2016) in which he was involved in a number of high quality residential and commercials projects. With the ability to synthesise conceptual design thinking with buildability and construction strategies. He understands that feasibility and value management controls are essential during the early design phase and that this is achieved through careful management of the design process and the specialist consultant team. Josh’s knowledge of construction methodologies and fabrication processes informs our design strategies and ensures LXN achieve ‘buildable’ design solutions and comprehensive documentation.  Josh’s understanding of project programming and cost planning are invaluable during the tender evaluation, negotiation process and project delivery.

Sarah’s passion for Architectural Theory and research underpins her practice and conceptual design processes.  Her experience in residential, public and commercial architecture encompass new builds, heritage conservation, refurbishment of existing buildings and urban design. Sarah brings a broad skill set to her practice; including client engagement, all aspects of design delivery, contract documentation, tendering and contract administration. Exceptional communication and management skills ensure that projects under Sarah’s leadership run smoothly and are expedited on program. Sarah has most recently managed the design and installation of Retail Popup Stores across the United States, honing her skills in Project Management and Value Engineering. Sarah maintains a commitment to design research and education through previous associations with the University of Tasmania and as associate lecturer at Bond University, Abedian School of Architecture.
